Since opening its doors in 2013, Warehouse 4 has striven to provide its customers with an inviting, community-oriented gathering space. Featuring attentively-crafted espresso drinks, locally roasted coffee, decadent house-made baked goods and deli-style sandwiches, Warehouse 4's top notch service and striking originality is bound to please anyone.
I began working with the shop in 2017 to design a website that would highlight these features. Following this project, I was hired to oversee brand development, promotional photography and all social media in an effort to increase awareness and business for the shop.
MOBILE WEBSITE OPTIMIZATION
SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT & STRATEGY
Located in a small Dayton suburb away from the coffee scene in the city, the shop faced the challenge of creating an awareness of its bustling existence. Without a website until early 2018, the business also lacked the ability to truly show off the multitude of its offerings. While the shop had been eager to expand its social media presence and hired talented photographers in the past, a lack of strategic media management resulted in little to no impact.
The creation of Warehouse 4's website has energized its customers and become a useful resource for both management and customers alike. Featuring pages with dedicated forms for show bookings, shop rentals, catering and job applications, customers can now easily submit their inquiries and management no longer has to communicate everything through the shop's social media pages.
An online menu and vibrant gallery also helps showcase the shop's offerings.
Promotional photography combined with cohesive branding and strategy on social media platforms has led to significantly increased awareness and business. In less than a year, the shop's followers have more than doubled on social media and engagement rate has considerably increased along with positive customer reviews.
With a second location soon opening, Warehouse 4 has now solidified itself as a must-visit food and coffee destination for both Dayton residents and beyond.
