How did you come up with the title?
The title speaks for itself in growing up there are definetly Growing Pains!!
Who designed the cover?
Lisa Russell designed my cover and my website and is my mentor. She is the best.
Do you have to travel a lot for your books?
No traveling yet....but would love to travel to speak to The Youth about Growing Pains and growing up. It is on my radar.
When did you write your first book and how old were you?
This is my first book so it was published the year I made the big 4-0!!
If your book was a movie, who would you pick to play the main characters?
China McClain to play Kendra, I always wanted to act so I can play Kendra's mom and oh Denzel Washington can play Kendra's dad.
Do you plan on writing sequels?
I am currently writing the second book in the series now tentatively titled "A New Beginning".
How long did it take you to complete Growing Pains: Kendra’s Diaries?
I began working on it in 2007 when my son was sick and I had to take off working for a year. Once I returned to work of course I had less time to devote to the book. It was published in 2011.
What is your favorite book?Cannot name just one have so many favorites but I will say when I read a Rage of Angels by Sydney Shelton many many years ago, I thought wow I wonder if I could write a book like this. Great Great story.
