An Actual Interview

I had the pleasure of being interviewed over the phone with Suzanne Fyhrie Parrott, founder of First Steps Publishing and Unruly Guides. It was a lot of fun, and my dad got to join in. We discuss me publishing my book at an early age, my book, how I've marketed myself, and books to come. Here is the link:

  1. Congratulations Spencer. You are a wealth of information. It is wonderful to tell my students that I take some of my writing advice from a twelve year old. The school year is one week old and you have already inspired some of my students. Although I won't be teaching an after school writing club many students asked if they can come to me for advice. I've made your blog address available to them. I was glad to hear Suzanne say your introduction hooked her, as that is what hooked me. I wish you luck with your writing and with your school year.

  2. Thank you so much for telling your kids about my website, that means a lot. And soon, you will be able to direct your kids to Unruly Guides, because I will have a YA corner on there. It is FOR kids to ask me for advice, so I will get to have a lot of fun. Thank you for all the kind things you have done, I am loving your book and I can't wait to share it with my classmates.
